Sleeping Dad

What fascinated me most about my father as a young child is his supposed independence from sleep. He stays up the latest and wakes up the earliest in our household, making him a rare combination of night owl and early bird. As the years have gone by and I began coming home much past his own established "bed time," I began to notice more and more how my father doesn't seem to rely on sleep in bed because he sleeps literally everywhere else. He sleeps in his car, movie theaters, outside, inside, in the attic, in the basement, on the couch through golf tournaments, and even in my own bed. The early bird does get the worm and the night owl watches the sun rise, what could the midday jay have to offer?
